After low success with the Sega CD attachment, the Sega 32X add-on was released. It brought a lot more power, bridging a bit of the gap into the 32 bit world of gaming... but it was a commercial flop. There are still a handful of gems in its library, though!

The technology made for a massive improvement to the barebones Genesis, especially in terms of processing speed and graphics. The way Sega used this new technology (especially in their handful of console exclusives) made for some very unique visual experiences.

Special items included:
Unreleased prototypes, games not in English (but only if they were easy enough to play without being fluent in another language), English-patched translations, plus these extras:

"Celtic PWM Test," "Ecco the Dolphin (CinePak Video)," "Mars Check Program: Set 1," "Mars Check Program: Set 2," "Mars Sample Program: Gnu Sierra," "Mars Sample Program: Pharaoh," "Mars Sample Program: Runlength Mode Test," "Mars Sample Program: Texture Test," and "Time Warner 32X CMD Download Cartridge."

Items removed:
Non-working dumps, duplicates, prototypes of games that eventually saw a release, European versions of titles when a North American version was available, hacks, homebrew games, and titles not in English that require proficiency in another language to play
