We were absolutely obsessed with videogames in the '80s and '90s. We had the themed folders and trapper keepers, stickers, clothing, posters, eating utensils, bedspreads, underwear... Hell, you name it.
Where could we be reached when our consoles weren't on? Still sitting in front of our television sets. Capitalizing on the popularity of games, productions spun up all over the place, providing us with shows and movies that were equal parts radical and awful.
Quality control and source material were usually tossed right out the window, but we ate it all up, no matter what.
This collection features some of the most recognizable intros, themes, and endings from the shows and movies we watched most, and even a few ill-composed commercials. Videogame-related audiovisual material may have always been hit or miss, but all of these tracks can still have a place in our hearts.
