Playing the original Secret of Monkey Island for the first time remains one of my favorite retro gaming memories and the beginning of my solid love affair with the point and click genre.
The first two games in the series, spearheaded by the legendary trio of Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman, and Tim Schafer, were absolute masterpieces. If you played them in the past, you'll never forget every single tone of the incredible soundtracks composed by Michael Land and Peter McConnell.
So important are those soundtracks, that I've included as many different versions as possible from different machines and sound cards so that you can re-live the adventure accurately, no matter what you played it on in the past.
Also included are the songs from the two other retro Monkey Island games that came after: "Escape from" and "The Curse of."
