Strategy guides, particularly before most gamers in the world had Internet access, were worth their weight in gold and were often times the only source for secret information or strategies outside your circle of friends.

 

They often contained lots of insider information and original artwork not found anywhere else, so regardless if you can find game guides online now, these are very much worth preserving.

As more books are found, or whenever the 15+ year mark rolls around each year past the original publication (what I consider "retro"), they will be added.
