The Saturn is what some consider to be the machine that truly started the downward spiral for Sega's home console efforts.

It was a frustratingly complex machine to develop for, ran directly against the mighty Sony PlayStation (but with a $100 higher price tag), and had a botched surprise release in the United States with only 6 titles to show for it. While it did great in Japan, Sega's other international efforts made risky advertising and sales decisions that caused it to fail hard and lose tons of money. Ultimately, Sony positively destroyed Sega in this console war with a less expensive, more powerful, and far more supported machine in the market.

However, don't count the Saturn out all these years later! It had absolutely incredible exclusives, faithful arcade ports, and it could do 2D games with far cooler presentation and effects than the PlayStation could. There is a treasure trove just waiting for you, regardless of what happened back in the '90s.

Release notes:
This is a complete re-work of my previous Sega Saturn set, which I did a couple years back. It was super messy and quite a few new translations have been completed since then. I've hand-tested these new additions, added 18 more titles overall, upgraded several others to newer revisions, and organized the files much, much cleaner than last time.

The folders in this collection organize the games alphabetically, but I also created a "Multi Disc" folder to keep those titles apart from the single disc games. I strongly suggest storing this multi disc collection separately as I have, for ease of use. You'll want to import the m3u (playlist) files into your emulator rather than the individual .cue files for these, or they will not load / swap discs properly. Keeping them separate will make it much easier to import them in two different batches - the multi disc games (via .m3u) and single disc games (via .cue).

The following titles required a different method than used in testing the rest of the set for whatever reason (Mednafen being stubborn, I'm sure), but still ended up working:

Tested with Yabause (v0.9.15 dfd5844): "Atomic Runner Chelnov," "EGWord Ver. 2," "Virtua Fighter CG Portrait Series Vol. 10: Jeffry McWild," and "Whizz."

The JP version of "Fighter's Megamix" is here because the NA game had censored content. The JP version of "Fighting Vipers" is here because the NA and EU versions cut Pepsiman and all Pepsi product placement. The "Gremlin Demo Disc" was added because it contains a demo for the unreleased Saturn port of "Re-Loaded." Both "Asuka 120% Limited: Burning Fest. Limited" and "Asuka 120% Limit Over" are included because the latter is a special unreleased version made from some of the developers of the original game - It includes a ton of differences.
